Your details, looked after.

This page explains what I collect through this website, why, and what I do with it. If you have a question, email hello@modulumjoinery.com.au or call 0417 835 017.

Who I am

Modulum Joinery is run by Ian Carter (ABN 46 893 885 614). In this policy "I", "me" and "we" mean Modulum Joinery.

What I collect

When you use the contact form, the estimator or the room sketch, I collect what you choose to send: your name, email address, phone number, postcode, your answers about the project, measurements, notes, and any photos, plans or drawings you attach. I don't ask for your street address online, and no payment details are taken on this website.

Why I collect it

I use your details to reply to your enquiry, prepare your estimate and design, arrange measuring and delivery, and keep a record of the work. I don't sell your details, and I don't add you to a mailing list without asking.

Who else sees it

Form submissions are stored by the website host, Netlify, and sent to my email. If you use the room sketch, your photo and requests are sent to Google's AI service to draw the sketch. If your job goes ahead, I share the details needed to make and deliver it with the Australian manufacturer and any delivery or installation partner. Some of these services may store information outside Australia. I only share what's needed for your project, or what the law requires.

Keeping it safe

I take reasonable steps to protect your details from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, and I delete or de-identify them when they're no longer needed for your project, my records or the law.

Seeing or correcting your details

You can ask to see the details I hold about you, or ask me to correct them. Email hello@modulumjoinery.com.au and I'll respond within a reasonable time.

Concerns

If you're unhappy with how I've handled your details, please contact me first so I can put it right. If it isn't resolved, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
